Joseph Howes
Chief Executive
Joseph has 22 years of experience working in charities supporting children, young people and their families in the UK to build better futures. Joseph has been Chief Executive of Buttle UK for 4 years and has previously held senior fundraising, and communications roles at Depaul UK, Action for Children and The Prince’s Trust. He is also Chair of the End Child Poverty Coalition, a group of 80+ organisations dedicated to the cause of alleviating child poverty.

Jill Dinsmore
Chair of Trustees
Jill was appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees in November 2020 after serving six years as a trustee.
She also chaired the inaugural Chances for Children Campaign Board for five years from 2015, which has now successfully hit its £10million fundraising target.
Prior to being involved with Buttle UK, Jill sat on the board of Friends of the Scottish Cot Death Trust for seven years, organising large-scale fundraising events.
Other events organised included high-profile fashion shows and concerts for several charities including Music in Hospitals Scotland and Scottish Disability Sport, raising thousands of pounds and awareness of the causes in the national press.

Peter Orlov
Deputy Chair of Trustees
Peter Orlov has spent over 15 years working for top law firms, specialising in advising on all aspects of legal matters relating to private investment funds. He is currently the General Counsel of a growth fund manager, specialising in tech investments.
Peter has acted for a variety of clients over the course of his career, from large sovereign wealth funds to complex corporates and central banks, including acting "pro bono" for a number of charity and not-for-profit clients.
Peter has been a trustee of Buttle UK since 2016; he lives in London.
