Prior to being involved with Buttle UK, Jill sat on the board of Friends of the Scottish Cot Death Trust for seven years, organising large-scale fundraising events.
Other events organised included high-profile fashion shows and concerts for several charities including Music in Hospitals Scotland and Scottish Disability Sport, raising thousands of pounds and awareness of the causes in the national press.
