Work for us
Thank you for your interest in working for Buttle UK
Developing your career to create chances for children
Do you want to make a real, tangible difference to vulnerable children and young people’s lives and develop your career with us? We are committed to supporting all our staff to learn, grow and develop new skills and expertise to ensure they are ready for their next career move.
As well as giving back to society by helping some of its most vulnerable children and young people, you’ll be fully supported in your role and given everything you need for your career to thrive.
We do not currently have any vacancies.
Please note that during the COVID-19 crisis all Buttle UK staff have been working from home in line with Government guidance and to minimise any unnecessary travel. We do not know how long this arrangement will last, as it is subject to many factors. It is being actively monitored by the Buttle UK Senior Management Team.
We expect everyone recruited during 2021 to have to work from home as a temporary arrangement and have put in place the necessary systems, contact points and communication to enable this. We will discuss working arrangements with all shortlisted applicants.

We are keen to offer work experience placements to 15-18 year old’s whom we have funded through our School Fees Programme or through the Enhanced Packages Programme. These placements will take place during the summer.
Due to the size of Buttle UK, we regret that we can only accommodate one or two students a year. If you are interested in such an opportunity please contact us as far in advance as possible.
Supporting equity, diversity and inclusion at Buttle UK
We are committed to promoting equity, valuing diversity and working inclusively across our entire organisation. We uphold these principles in our behaviours and practices – as an employer, and as a grantmaker for children, young people and families.
We use the Equality Act 2010’s nine protected characteristics to help focus our equity and diversity work. We aim to eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation and have due regard to advancing equity for the relevant protected characteristics. We will not tolerate discrimination against staff or children and young people we work with who have one or more of the protected characteristics:
- Gender reassignment
- Marriage and civil partnership
- Race & Ethnicity
- Religion or belief
- Sexual orientation
- Pregnancy and maternity
We need to collate data to find out the diversity of those working for us, and who we support to continuously improve our EDI environment and to help us measure success in eradicating discrimination across Buttle UK. The information you provide to us will be used for monitoring purposes only and will treated in the strictest confidence.
