Raring2go!

Buttle UK is delighted to be partnering with the magazine and online resource for parents and carers of primary school aged children

The cost-of-living crisis is affecting us all, but for families on the lowest income things are incredibly hard.  In the next year, these rising costs will send an estimated 1.3 million more people into poverty, 500,000 of them children.

What Buttle UK provide through these grants are everyday items most of us take for granted: a child’s bed, school uniform, after school activities or IT equipment to do school/college work and stay connected. These are the basic building blocks to improving skills and creating settled homes.  And providing them now, when money is particularly tight, is more important than ever.

Raring2go! is a magazine and online resource designed to help parents and carers of primary a school age children find clubs and classes, tuition centres, days out, local events and much more. That is why together we are working to provide more of these things to families who cannot afford them.

How can you help?

  • £5 could provide a swimming lesson to a vulnerable child in the UK, providing exercise, teaching them a valuable life skill and improving their confidence.
  • £10 could provide a week of football sessions to a vulnerable child or young person in the UK.
  • £25 could provide ‘back to school’ essentials to a vulnerable primary school student in the UK, including school bag, uniform and calculator.
  • £50 could provide a couple of tuition sessions to a child that is falling behind to help catch-up on missed education.
