Collaborate with us
We are embracing our 2025-30 strategy with a continued commitment to collaboration. This cornerstone of our work has seen us working with diverse organisations, building up our expertise through shared experience and open dialogue within the sector. We are keen to support others by sharing our data, offering training, and joining conversations across the voluntary, education and social justice sectors.
Our commitment to publishing our data safely and securely has seen us involved in multiple collaborative data projects, including being one of the earliest individual grant-makers to publish our data on the 360Giving platform. This fantastic charity helps organisations to publish open, standardised grants data to improve charitable giving and offer opportunities for analysis. We’ve also been working closely with the NPC’s Local Needs Databank, which draws together voluntary and publicly available ONS data to highlight need and demand for support for vulnerable groups across the UK.
Making our data so intentionally available has helped us to become visible to organisations such as the Domestic Abuse Commissioner’s Office, where we were invited to share our data and understanding of the impacts of domestic abuse for children and young people. This collaboration has seen us have shared conversations and take part in a working group, to raise awareness and improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
We are keen to work with other experts to conduct research that can highlight the needs of children and young people living in poverty and experiencing crisis. If you are an expert through lived experience or profession, and are interested in a collaboration or hearing more about the research conducted at Buttle UK, please get in touch via jessiea@buttleuk.org.

Our Data – 360Giving
As part of our goal to be an accountable and transparent funder we are making data about our grant giving available for others to access and use. We are doing this using the 360Giving Data Standard.
