This year, our 2022-2023 Support for Boarding report is widely positive in regard to grades, impact for both young people and parents/carers and wellbeing. As always, we have used the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) to measure the mental health and wellbeing of our boarding cohort. The reflection of these scores can be found in the main report.

As always, we reflect on the challenges and the negative feedback we receive from the boarders, as the report is a true reflection of what the cohort have experienced during their time in school.

This year sees a focus on the significant steps we have taken to introduce more Co-Production work into the boarding programme, amplifying the voices of the young people we work with is key to our ongoing strategy and we have involved the boarding cohort in many facets of this work.
