Buttle UK offer two different grants.
Chances for Children Grants: We award grants of up to £2,400 for children and young people impacted by specific crises. The grants are designed to help children and young people to overcome their experiences by accessing activities that promote wellbeing, build support networks, and help them engage in education or learning. Support for Boarding Grants:
We only accept applications from frontline professionals (e.g. a charity, housing association/support, school or public sector organisation), and who...

Families and young people can not apply directly to us.
Children and young people must meet all criteria:
Child or young person must have experienced at least one of the following crises:
Physical or sexual abuse
Emotional abuse or neglect by parent/caregiver
Domestic abuse
Suffered violence, severe bullying, harassment or exploitation
Estranged, deserted or alienated from both parents
Has a parent, caregiver or sibling who is terminally ill and receiving end of life care
Death of a parent, caregiver or sibling
Experienced a sudden and traumatic life-changing incident

If an application is successful, you, the supporting professional, will be asked to manage the funds on behalf of the family/young person. You will need to agree to the Grant Terms and Conditions, then:

Parents and carers cannot apply for grants directly. Applications must be made by a professional support worker. To find out who can make the application on your behalf, please read the criteria for each of the grants.

Applications can only be made by support workers.
You may have a support worker already. This is someone who works for a statutory agency or charity, and who helps you in a professional capacity. They may be a health worker, a youth support worker, housing support officer, working at a school or college or in a similar role. Please ask them to look at our grant criteria.
Buttle UK supports children and young people. We do not offer help where there is no child or young person under 18 in the household, with the exception of young people aged up to 20 who live independently with little or no support from their family. All applications must be made by a professional support worker and meet our criteria.
