Be a Secret Santa This Christmas

How to get your workplace involved and bring hope to a child in need this festive season

With the festive season upon us, many families across the UK are grappling with severe financial difficulties exacerbated by the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. Our recent report, Growing Up in Poverty, reveals that 81% of families surveyed are struggling to afford essentials like food, heating, and clothing.

That’s why this year we are inviting you to join us in a special way that brings both warmth and joy to those in need.

Get Involved At Work

Buy a gift in our virtual gift shop. Your gift will support the purchase of Christmas gifts for children and families in need.

Choose a Gift: Your donation will be used to buy gifts tailored to different age groups and needs—whether it’s a cosy blanket, a favourite toy, or essential winter clothing.

Run a Christmas Giving Tree at work By hosting a Christmas Giving Tree and getting your colleagues to donate through our virtual shop, you can bring the gift of hope this Christmas.

  • Create a Christmas tree to display where everyone can see it.
  • Use our gift tag template. Print as many tags as you need and hang them from your Christmas tree.
  • Each tag shows how much a toy, book, game or essential item costs and a QR code that will take you to our virtual gift shop.
  • Personalise the tag with your own message for colleagues and replace it on the tree.
  • Tell us you are taking part – we can let you know how much you & your colleagues have raised.
  • Perfect for multi-location & hybrid workers.
  • See if your company will match your donations and double the impact of your Christmas giving.

This Christmas, be their Secret Santa and give the Gift of Hope!

Your support can help children like Oliver

Oliver was just five years old when he and his family were forced to flee their home due to severe domestic abuse. After escaping to a women’s refuge, the family was left with nothing. Buttle UK stepped in with a grant that provided them with essential items for their new home, including beds, a sofa, kitchen essentials, and toys, games and books. Oliver’s new bed improved his sleep, and the household items made a huge difference in his family’s daily life.

Oliver’s mum shared, “The children’s beds mean they sleep a lot better, especially my baby in her own cot. The microwave helps me sterilise the baby’s bottles, and having a good vacuum has improved my son’s asthma a lot.” Your support made this possible, and it’s stories like these that show the true impact of your generosity.
