Advisor Network

Our Advisor Network is made up of young people, parents and carers, and professionals with experience of the issues Buttle UK is trying to tackle through its grants. Network members help develop our grant giving, decision making and strategic planning.

Advisor Network

Our Advisor Network feeds into the development and delivery of Buttle UK’s work through a range of feedback, consultation and co-production approaches. It invites open and constructive feedback from young people, families and professionals with learned and lived experiences of the issues Buttle UK aims to tackle through its grants.

We involve Network members in our work in a range of ways. These include one-off surveys, focus groups, consultation events and requests for case studies, through to co-producing research and projects on key issues that arise from our work.

We recruit our Advisor Network members through our grant feedback surveys and have a regular newsletter to keep members updated on our co-production work.

The Network does not provide a route for professionals or families to challenge grant decisions or make complaints about their individual cases, and engaging in the Network will not affect the outcomes of members’ grant applications.
