Thank you for your interest, applications for this role have now closed.

Do you remember a time in your life when somebody really helped you?

When a small intervention made a big impact on your life?

This is what we do at Buttle UK – paying for things that can change a life forever.

Buttle UK provides flexible, needs-based grants to give children and young people in poverty and very vulnerable situations, a real chance for change. We call these Chances for Children Grants (CCGs). We work with families and children directly to identify a package of support to cover their immediate educational, material and well-being needs.

Buttle’s activities are UK-wide and are coordinated from our central London office. Our team of 25 has grown in recent years and we now need an experienced Office Administrator who can support our teams. This is a new post that will help us become more efficient and effective and help us bring our vision for children and young people to life.

We are looking for someone who has substantial experience of working in a busy office environment, supporting teams and ensuring that all our office processes run smoothly. The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and coordination skills; proficiency in MS Office and Google; the ability to manage multiple priorities; and build strong working relationships with colleagues.  As well as good communication skills – both written and verbal – the candidate will be flexible in the way they work and will take the initiative when needed. They will also have a demonstrable interest in the UK voluntary sector.

This is a very exciting time to join our small office in a role that will make a real difference for Buttle UK and the children and families we serve.

Please also ensure you have completed our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion monitoring form. This is completely anonymous and cannot be linked back to your application.

The closing date for applications is 25th July. We will be monitoring the number of applications, if we receive a high volume we will bring the closing date forward and we will not be able to provide notice of this and we will not accept applications received after this date. Therefore, if you are interested in the role, we encourage you to apply early.

We anticipate a high volume of applications and for that reason we will not be able to provide feedback to those who are not shortlisted, therefore, if you haven’t heard from Buttle UK by 31st July, please assume that you have not been successful to the next stage of the recruitment process and we thank you for taking the time to apply for the role.

To apply, download and read the recruitment pack below and then fill in the form at the bottom of the page.
