On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to share the news that Joe will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer of Buttle UK at the end of February, as he moves on to a new chapter.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Joe for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to Buttle UK over the past seven years. During this time, he has successfully guided the organisation through significant change and growth, strengthening our impact and deepening our focus on supporting children and young people experiencing poverty and crisis.
Under Joe’s leadership, Buttle UK has expanded its reach, enhanced the quality and responsiveness of our grant-making, and laid strong foundations for a more ambitious, resilient and advocacy-led future. His dedication to our mission, his support for our staff team, and his ability to lead through exceptionally challenging external circumstances have been instrumental in preparing the organisation for its next chapter.
While we are sad to see Joe leave, we are immensely grateful for everything he has achieved and the legacy he leaves behind. We wish him every success in what comes next.
The Board will be working with Perrett Laver to recruit Buttle UK’s next Chief Executive, with the search beginning in the New Year. We look forward to sharing more about this exciting opportunity in due course.
